Peter Mills: For 20 years Peter Mills Graphic Designs built it's solid reputation by designing and delivering all forms of print graphics for the large book publishers in NYC. Before email and electronic file upload, it was critical that your office be near your clients. Peter Mills Graphic Designs was located in the Flatiron district of Manhattan. Times have changed. No more paste-up boards or cutting Rubylith. Peter Mills has been able to apply the same innovative design that made his NYC office successful to the computer high tech world of today. Peter's talent and experience allowed him to create a business spanning three decades through referral and word of mouth.
Education: Peter graduated from Syracuse, BA, School of Visual and Performing Arts, Syracuse University
Steven Van Praagh: Started in 1998, at 307 Fifth Avenue, in a loft office above a photo lab, VPD (Van Praagh Design) served fashion and home furnishing companies with graphics and printing services.
Steven considers himself one of the lucky few that have been able to build a career around the type of work he is passionate about. It started as early as he could remember, sketching his thoughts instead of writing them, using cameras to capture images that could only be articulated through an image. Starting in early High School, with Drafting and Photography, into College, with Film, Video, Media Research, Advertising and Marketing concentration, and into a professional career in printing, publishing, design, web development, and developing patented business software, and for almost twenty years, Steven have continued to do just that, design, create and deliver ideas, concepts, and messages through graphics, in either printed or web format.
Education: Adelphi University, B.A. in Communications
